"Before I learned about MMS...I almost wasted $60,000 on an inadequate vendor. With their guidance, I got a system that will serve us for the next decade."

The story of Mankin Media Systems is Ben Mankin. While working on his B.S. in Broadcast Production degree, Ben saw a growing need for talented and creative people to lead the church through the media revolution. To further his technical and production knowledge Ben worked the television broadcast for Houston Astros games and was nationally selected by the Walt Disney World Company for an internship in Orlando while completing his degree. After several years as a freelance consultant, Ben founded Mankin Media Systems to provide design and leadership for organizations and churches pursuing technical and media ministries. After founding MMS in 2001 Ben has traveled the globe working with clients and partners while consulting, designing and installing technical systems in 36 states and 7 foreign countries.
Ben's continued pursuit of excellence led him to the Master's program at MTSU where he is currently finishing his master's thesis on how the Northpoint Church in Alpharetta, Georgia uses media technology. Outreach Magazine ranked the Northpoint Church as 3rd most innovative church in America in 2007. As a result of Ben's expertise and experience he has had the opportunity to work for some of the largest churches in the US and various Fortune 500 companies.
Ben holds multiple industry and government certifications and is a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers, EO (Entrepreneurs' Organization), Gospel Music Association, Themed Entertainment Association and the CS Lewis Society, Oxford.

Shane Skaggs is a modern day digital media architect. He is a graduate of Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, where he studied Music Technology and Arts Administration. Shane's love for production began at an early age as he—with the help of his sister's vocal talent—produced live stage shows for friends and family. His interest in technology eventually evolved into his passion for visual communications and digital storytelling.
After a leading role designing production for a popular post-modern service in Louisville,Shane and his wife moved to Orange County, California where he designed content and staging for a local church. Today, Shane mixes the medium of print, video and lighting to create compelling content and inviting spaces that tell stories and invoke participation. Although Shane has moved on from those family stage days, he still produces and designs shows with viewers anywhere from 1000 to 10,000 and beyond.
Shane believes everyone has a story to tell and the better it's packaged the more impact it can have. He is a bit of a coffee snob and is never too far from a Starbucks. While his life is that of a typical creative, the favorite part of Shane's day is coming home to his wife and King Charles Spaniel who keep him sane.
Shane is a member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers and Themed Entertainment Association.
